Friday the 13th weekend

Well this weekend has been a very busy weekend for me. The band performed at the basketball games Friday and Saturday, and Ffortissimo Show Choir went to their first competition Saturday. What weekend did all this happen to fall on? Friday the 13th! Now, I'm not someone to be superstitious, but I had a small feeling that this weekend may not go well. I wasn't expecting something big to happen, but I was afraid that the band might not play as well as they could, or i might fall during the competition. Just little things like that made me fret. Though to my surprise, things went the opposite. The band played really good this weekend. I was especially amazed ,when I went in front of them Friday to direct, to hear how strong we sounded. We sounded pretty good saturday too, but we were tired and you could tell. Ffortissimo did good too, Saturday. We did not go on into the finals but we beat out another group to end up in 6th out of 7. That's a huge win for us because the choirs we went up against have been competing for 30 or so years now.
So, in-spite of this being the weekend of Friday the 13th, it actually ended up to being not so bad. Here are some pictures from the basketball game on Saturday.
